KShaper

Introduction

KShaper is a graphical based trafficshaper application made for Linux desktops. It uses iproute2 with an virtual intermediate device and is written in the programming language QT/C++. For now on KShaper is based on HTB qdiscs, this may change in the future.

Requirements

  • Iproute2.
  • QT4
  • Linux needs these features in the kernel:
    • IFB(Intermediate Functional Block)
    • HTB (Hierarchical Token Bucket)qdisc
    • Ingress qdisc
    • SFQ (Stochastic Fairness Queueing)
    • Universal 32bit comparisons w/ hashing (U32)
    • Actions
    • Redirecting and Mirroring
